Though unusual, it is possible that one or more of
the Cool-n-Save Misting System Nozzles
can become clogged if there is a high concentration of
minerals in your water.
If you know you live in a hard water area, you may want
to purchase a Polyphosphate
Filter to help filter your water. One filter
will last the entire summer, and should be replaced each
spring.
If your nozzles are not performing properly due to mineral
buildup, simply turn off the water supply to the AC
Pre-Cooling System and remove the clogged misting
nozzles. Soak the nozzles in a product such as Lime-A-Way
or CLR for about 5 minutes, rinse, replace
into the misting arms, and turn your water source back
on. If proper misting does not resume, remove the offending
nozzles and repeat the procedure, soaking them for 10
full minutes. |
